J Jones (Building Contractors) were formed back in 1991 by the current Managing Director, Mr John G Jones who successfully built the company up over a period of ten years when in 2002 he invited Derek G Pritchard, an experienced engineer to buy into the company as Partner and Director. This is when the company was incorporated and became known as J&C Jones Building Contractors Ltd. The company continues to experience continual growth and is today based at Abersoch Rd, Llanbedrog, 3 miles east of Pwllheli and employs up to forty full time, part and self employed tradespersons from within the local construction pool. The Company undertakes all aspects of construction from bespoke new builds, new residential estate, social housing units, refurbishments and renovations, extensions as well as everyday maintenance issues involving electrical, heating and plumbing. We have a strong fleet of vehicles, our own excavators, surface paving machine. dumpers and haulage vehicles in addition to an assortment of small plant and tools all serviced by our Service Engineer at our premises at Llanbedrog. We are fortunate to have within our team a full time Architect who plays an invaluable role in our popular service provision of design and build and we often experience repeat business because of this service. The Company is now well placed to move confidently forward into the future and further expand the civils side of the business which has already began with the opening of our new premises at Mona, Anglesey.
